e-DET
Electronic Detonator from the Explosives
Division of GULF OIL Corporation Limited is
an accurate and simple to use delay detonator. With factory
programmed delay numbers and field programmed delay
intervals, e-DETs are ideal for all surface and below-ground
blasting applications.
e-DET ft is a variant of e-DET having factory
programmed delay timings
Salient Features
- Simple user-friendly two wire design
- Factory Programmed Delay Number and Field
Programmable Delay Interval (e-DET)
- Factory Programmed Delay Interval (e-DET ft)
- Accurate Delay firing time
- Special connector for easy field connections
- Firing sequence can be aborted by the operator any time
after powering the detonators (e-DET)
- Detonator does not fire on application of DC
current or voltage
- Detonator requires coded signal from the e-XPLODER to
initiate firing

e-XPLODER
e-DET is fired using a special e-XPLODER. The exploder
charges individual detonators, transfers the delay interval
data to the firing circuit and sends the coded signal to the
detonators, to initiate the timing sequence.
- Operating Voltage: 14V DC (rechargeable battery)
- Unit-Specific Electronic Authorization Key
- Portable & User-friendly
- Alphanumeric 4 Line LCD Display
- SET, CHARGE, FIRE, ABORT controls
- Capacity: 150 Detonators

Precautions
- Do NOT subject e-DET to impact, friction and fire.
- Do NOT carry out charging of explosives during an
approaching storm or when there is lightning activity in the
blast area. Vacate the blast area and resume operations only
after the storm has passed.
- Do NOT attempt to fight explosive fires.
