General Purpose Small Diameter Explosives (Superdyne)
Introduction
Superdyne is a powerful cap-sensitive aluminised gelled slurry
explosive for small diameter blasting.
Superdyne embodies the typical characteristics of slurry
explosive creating maximum energy concentration and transfering
it completely. It is highly suitable for small diameter rock
blasting, blasting of water filled holes and in underground
mines. Its rigid blow moulded tube facilitates loading in
long holes also. Superdyne gives excellent fragmentation and
offers a high degree of safety from mechanical impacts and
friction. It provides great reduction of noxious fumes associated
with nitroglycerine and thus eliminates headaches to operating
personnel. Superdyne can be initiated either by a No.6 detonator
or detonating cord.
Applications
Superdyne small dia cartridges find application in construction
work, tunnelling, well sinking, underground mining, secondary
blasting, opencast operations and for general purpose blasting.
